Our Shining Stars 2023 X-Mas Party, hosted in collaboration with the Palos Area Business Association, was a festive celebration of togetherness and gratitude. This holiday gathering was more than just a party—it was a joyful reflection of the connections we foster and the spirit of giving that defines our mission.
One of the highlights of the evening was a creative ornament decorating contest, which added a personal and festive touch to the event. Clear plastic ornaments were placed at each table, along with an array of oil markers in 30 different colors. Attendees embraced the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, crafting unique designs while enjoying lively conversation and laughter with one another. The holiday spirit was in full bloom as participants shared ideas and complimented each other’s creations.
As the night unfolded, the winners of the ornament decorating contest were announced, with beautiful Christmas centerpieces awarded as prizes. Though it was just a friendly competition, the creativity and effort put into each ornament were remarkable. It was heartwarming to see the thought and care that went into every design, making the evening even more memorable.
