About The Owner

JAC Care at Home is a heartfelt venture, named after my three beloved sons: Julius, Augustus, and Chester. The realization of owning a healthcare business has been a cherished dream of mine. As a Registered Nurse with a graduation year of 1993, my dedication to my profession has remained steadfast, and I've practiced it diligently ever since. The profound passion I hold for caring for people has driven me to pursue my calling while simultaneously experiencing the immense rewards of entrepreneurship. At present, I am fully dedicated to managing my business on a full-time basis.

My journey in the healthcare industry has been extensive. Prior to establishing JAC Care at Home, I worked in hospitals and nursing homes, gaining invaluable experience. Additionally, I spent approximately 15 years as a visiting nurse and held the role of Director of Nursing during that time.

This extensive background in healthcare inspired me to take the leap and establish my own caregiving agency.

My personal journey as an immigrant from the Philippines is a testament to resilience and determination. I was petitioned from a Nursing Home when I arrived in the United States. While awaiting my US RN License, I tirelessly worked double shifts to meet my own needs, pay bills, and support my family back home. During my time at the nursing home, a remarkable 96-year-old lady on my floor offered me a caregiving job to care for her once she returned home. With no family, she lived alone, and I became her caregiver for an extended period. In time, we grew incredibly close, and she became like family to me.

Caregiving, in my view, is one of the most humble and gratifying professions. It extends beyond physical care, encompassing emotional support through attentive listening, heartfelt conversations, and the reassurance that individuals need to meet their unique needs.

In times of emergency staffing needs, I am more than willing to step in to ensure that the highest level of care is maintained.
